Job Description
Explore the Salt Lake
Valley with youth this summer enjoying the great outdoors, discovering museums,
and diving into the world of imagination. Youth leaders will be
responsible for planning and implementing activities for youth ages 6-12 that
respond to their individual needs and interests and that encourages them to
develop friendships, work cooperatively, communicate effectively, and increase
their self-image. Be a mentor as you go side by side with youth and escape to
new adventures, try new things, and challenge them to learn new skills and be
their best. Youth camp leaders will offer classroom activities, team
building and group activities, community service-learning projects, and outdoor
recreational opportunities. They will be responsible for proper supervision and
interaction with youth, maintain effective group management techniques,
encourage participation from all youth, develop meaningful relationships, serve
as a positive role model, and most of all, have fun!

Qualifications:
- Must have/or obtain: Food Handlers Permit, CPR/First Aid Certification
- Be 18 years of age and ability to successfully pass a background check
- Higher Education in Social Work, Psychology, Recreation, or Education Fields a plus
- Valid Utah Driver’s License and comfortable driving a 15 passenger van
- Fluent in English, Bilingual Spanish is a plus
